About Appflow

Appflow is Ionic's cloud mobile DevOps platform for building, publishing, and updating Capacitor and Cordova apps on iOS and Android.

Teams connect a git repository and Appflow compiles native iOS and Android binaries in managed cloud environments, publishes directly to the App Store and Google Play, and pushes Live Updates - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and asset changes - straight to installed apps without a new store review.

Automations run the pipeline from code push through builds to store submission with preconfigured workflows, a Cloud CLI plugs Appflow steps into existing CI/CD infrastructure, and web previews share a live browser version of each build for review.

Ionic discontinued new customer sales for Appflow in February 2025 and is winding down maintenance and support over multiple years, so the platform is unavailable to new buyers and existing customers are planning continuity.
